For my devoted readers...
Which include Courtney, Michael and Thomas…among many more am I right? I decided that a comback blog is better than doing summer psychology homework right now.
Curt and I saw 500 Days of Summer (mostly because Curt is in love with Zooey) and it ended up being a pretty feel good movie, and more “realistic” than say, A Walk to Remember perhaps? (although she actually dies, so you...

Quick Re-cap?
I feel like I haven’t blogged much lately…and mostly because I haven’t. Because as Scott Olstad would say, tumblrs aren’t actually for blogging (so maybe I should try something new…). I feel like I have been worn out the last few weeks, but that I’ve also done nothing at the same time; hopefully that means I have a good balance goin on for me.
I feel like...
Home Sweet Home
My favorite part about coming home is the guarenteed meal from Taresas…well and my parents too I guess :). And the fact that my parents are really into Weeds lately and it’s all they watch when I come home. And when my dogs break down the gate when I walk in the door. Somethings just can’t be fulfilled at school and I’m so excited I get to spend the majority of spring break...

What can you get for 99 cents?
Ask Curt, he just bought “1000 Miles” by Vanessa Carlton for 99 cents. Wow.

The Future of the American Idea
So for my polisci class this semester, we were assigned to read an article “The Future of the American Idea” from The Atlantic, which is where my previous quote about sustainability was from. It’s a collection of essays from people describing their opinion about the subject, and it was so interesting. Anyways, there were an abundance of interesting ideas and I thought ya’ll...

"Resolutions"
These are basically goals that I need to get done soon soon…
-Jobjobjob…hopefully with my second semester schedule, I will have more time to work…and my classes aren’t as spaced out as before. (already appiled to a few today)
-Work out more often. I paid for a Lifetime membership for the month and needless to say it was expensive so I’m doing my best to use it a...

Home Alone
No, not the movie, but literally I’m home alone this weekend. And since I’m such a party animal, I have spent most of it with my dogs and the TV..and a ton of food. Luckily I’ll be getting back to Lifetime soon because I need to work out. Everyday. So since I’ve only been watching TV all day (&cleaned), I mostly just feel like blogging about what I’ve been...
On the 50..
So the best thing I’ve ever overheard happened today on my way back to campus on the 50. A man was loudly discussing his wife and his “girl” who was pregnant with his twins…and how they know about each other. And you know, sometimes he likes to lay back and smoke a joint or two or drink a couple beers. Needless to say after telling Curt he replied “my hero.”...
So as I decided to watch some depressing 20/20 type show about people being murdered tonight, I got lucky enough to see the scariest tv commercial ever. So they’re yelling “Jesus” and shit and then some girl goes “we are the ambulance to people’s souls.” This show is apparently ‘The Lord’s Bootcamp’ or something and well, it looks really...
My current annoyances
So I thought before starting my studying tonight I would do this now and feel better. Don’t feel the need to read, ain’t no thang ya’llz.
people who don’t pick up their feet when they walk…how lazy can you be?
dumbasses who go to review sessions but not actual class and ask stupid questions.
joyce in cultural studies…she wants on robin, our prof, which is...
Tonight
I plan on listening to James Taylor’s xmas cd, studying, and drinking hot choco because it’s supposed to snow like 6 inches. The James Taylor xmas cd is ALMOST as good as Snowed In (obvi by Hanson). Last night I went home to decorate the christmas tree while listening to these because it’s one of my fav things all year to do with my fam. I just rocked around the christmas tree...

Amurrrrica.
Last night Ted had a party to celebrate his homecoming and needless to say, it was patriotic themed…and well, savers fulfilled our needs completely. We basically celebrated with cardboard cut outs of JFK and Barack while doing completely inappropriate things all night. And we never stopped dancing…inappropriately. It was really an excellent group of people so it was really fun. And...
I dropped it on Kim tonight
So I’m just going to let Curt do most of the explaining for last nights show…but it was really one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Everyone was just laughing and smiling the whole time and it was overall just feel good. Curt is lucky enough that I let him drop it on Kim…I was just jealous because I wanted to be in the middle :(. She is super cute…and well, so is...
My night...
So far has consisted of pizza, cherry pop, pudding and oreos…and Lauren :(. So we’re sitting here, enjoying our pudding (her pudding) and she’s like “AT LEAST I DON’T HAVE BLONDE HAIR, BLUE (my eyes are green) EYES AND FRECKLES.” What the fuck…I need a roommate change for next semester, I CANNOT deal with this (she is reading over my shoulder! I know it!)....

Best News Today...
So I have the TV on for background news, but we only get like 3-4 channels with no cable and our antenna so I was stuck with TMZ (I know, the worst part of American pop culture blahblah). Anyways, apparently John Mayer is going to have his own network variety tv show in early ‘09. I hope it comes out on my birthday..best bday present everrrr.
That’s my boyfriend.

Love being at home...
So this weekend my family went out of town so I had the tedious (actually wonderful) task of taking care of my puppies, whom I almost miss as much as my family at school. So far, Bella, Scamp and I have done a lot of cuddling and sleeping. I went to urgent care tonight because I feel pretty terrible, but it doesn’t seem to be strep and the dr gave me some antibiotics that will help...

Making the Band 84
So yesterday Curt and I were working out and luckily we picked the machines that were right in front of a particular racquet court…one that included two asian and three white men…dancing..break dancing. Yes, they were dancing like they were ready to try out for making the band and it was the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen…although great work out entertainment. Thank...
Sweatpants
I didn’t wear enough clothing this morning to class and was freezing..so now i’m laying on the futon in sweatpants, so I’m happy. Except I can’t find the answer keys for our problems in chem…we all know I can’t get any of them right.
I’m dropping out and moving home…so I can eat twice baked potatoes and kneffla soup forever.

Dear Michael and Courtney,
I have a lot of other things I should be doing…but I knew I would probably be dead by tomorrow if this didn’t happen :). So here it is for you to poke for at me for the rest of my life.
So last night Curt and I went to Tegan and Sara, and it was even better than the last time we went (probz because I didn’t get up like 6am like I had to before). Anyways, I’m obviously...

Cultural Studies Makes Me Die...
In the worst way possible. Michael and I are sitting here on our computers because well, none of this garbage makes sense. Any apparently we have another paper due on Thursday…good thing I just figured that out. This class is seriously just so made up, and Robin…he likes to swear a lot and I’m not really sure why. Over all, I blame Michael for all of the suffering that will...
Freezing Thursday Night.
Lauren went home for the next few days because that effin’ b doesn’t have class tomorrow so I’m just being lame and sitting here tonight even though I should be at my lab. I missed my first lab last week because I ended up feeling really really sick (not just the usual feeling) and I decided that I’d rather suffer the consequences rather than throwing up in front of 50...

Side Trips...
So today we finally actually got to do something fun…the como zoo! Well, you got to pick which side trip you wanted to go on and yeah I know, big surprise the I picked the zoo. But Michael and his friend Christine went with us and we got to spend a little time there which was fun…except for the sloth that was really creepy and had claws, no me gusta. I decided I would like a sea lion...
The first few daysss!
So Lauren and I have settled into our homey little dorm which started out as a suckfest but has actually turned out really really nicely. We ended up with a little different set up than we expected, but we be lovin it. Minus welcome week…
So welcome week has basically taken up everyone’s time since we got here and we’ve had to get up early and we have virtually no open time to...
...tomorrow?
I move out tomorrow! And now I’m a tiny bit sad, but I know that I can come home whenever I’d like and my parents are still very close. And I really only feel like I’m on temporary leave because I have so much stuff that my room is currently still pretty full. But I’m just getting more and more nervous because I want to get all of my stuff in there and set up and I’m...
State Fair!
The state fair always fulfills my expectations…of trashy people, greasy food, and hours of walking. I felt like I had a little willpower with food. I only had a pronto pup, a lemonade, a carmel apple and the top of the bucket of cookies that I bought for my parents. The trashy people seemed to be in abundance because it was a saturday…one of our favorites was a girl wearing a sweater...
