Best Day Ever? Possibly.

Gopher men’s basketball wins by 20, I get ice cream, and I get to high five AL NOLEN, travis busch (pronounced BUSH-KK in my world) and Abu-Shamala (aka BooBoo). I know I sound like a pre-teen girl, but I just want to bump and grind with Al Nolen because he’s such a baller. One of Curt’s roommates looks oddly similar to him, so I guess I’ll settle for him when we get to that point someday…Anyways, I’ve grown to really love, not just enjoy, gopher basketball. I mean, we just have these (mostly local) humble guys who are good at basketball that aren’t recruited and really play as a team and I think that’s something to admire, especially with how well they have been doing. Love you Tubby.

Also, I got to meet Fredrik, a friend of Curt’s through Carlson that is here to study abroad. It’s really funny how we notice so many more things when they are pointed out..like skyways :). It’s also nice to get different perspectives. I can’t imagine how overwhelming it is for him, but hopefully he’s easing into it alright. Wish I had a cool accent.

Last but not least, Curt and I made it to Lifetime for a quick workout (reminds me of last chance workout from the biggest loser) tonight and there was a girl with white cotton shorts on that said “bite me.” I don’t know if I could think of anything more trashy…wearing your underwear to the gym? That might even be better. I got my 5 workouts for last week in, and hopefully I’ll get that many in for my last week home and then Chicago for Saturday and Sunday. I’m actually excited to be back at school and in the cities…(I’ll regret these words in a month).

Oh and ps, Curt got me a puppy+kitten calendar for my birthday (among other great things; AA sweatshirt, new sunglasses to replace the broken ones, an ugly doll- a dog one, Obama photo book, LOLcatz book & owlies) which made me really happy, because they can get along after all! I’m a happy (spoiled and lucky also) girl :)
